§ 8.12.020. Scope of provisions.

A.

General. The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all substandard buildings, substandard structures and substandard property.

B.

Existing Building. Occupancies in existing buildings may be continued as provided in Section 104(g) of the county of Los Angeles uniform building laws except in such structures as are found to be substandard as defined in this chapter and ordered vacated or as are found to be unsafe as defined in Section 203 of the county of Los Angeles uniform building laws.
